Product Information

Descriptions, specifications, and availability

We aim to present accurate product descriptions, specifications, images, included components, pricing, and availability for our lawn, garden, and outdoor power equipment.

Product information may be corrected or updated when an error, manufacturer revision, specification change, discontinued model, availability issue, or other material change is identified.

Color, packaging, labels, and minor design details may appear differently depending on screen settings or manufacturer production updates, provided the supplied product remains the model ordered or an approved equivalent accepted by the customer.

Orders and Acceptance

How an order becomes confirmed

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the products in your cart. An automated order acknowledgement confirms that we received the submission but does not necessarily mean the order has completed verification or been accepted for dispatch.

Orders remain subject to payment clearance, product availability, customer-detail verification, delivery eligibility, and fraud-prevention review.

We may cancel, decline, or limit an order when reasonably necessary, including when:

  • A product is unavailable or discontinued
  • The listed price or product information contains a material error
  • Payment cannot be authorized or verified
  • The delivery address cannot be serviced safely
  • The order appears fraudulent, unauthorized, or intended for prohibited activity
  • A quantity limit or other reasonable order restriction applies

If payment has been collected for an order we cannot accept, the applicable amount will be returned to the original payment method.

Pricing, Taxes, and Payment

Secure U.S. checkout

Prices displayed on the Garden Machinery Direct U.S. website are stated in U.S. dollars unless clearly indicated otherwise.

Applicable sales tax, shipping charges, special-access fees, and other order-specific costs will be displayed during checkout, stated on the product page, or communicated in an approved quote before payment.

Supported payment methods may include eligible credit or debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Available options may vary by device, browser, transaction value, and checkout eligibility.

  • You authorize the applicable payment provider to process the amount shown for your order.
  • You confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted.
  • Orders may remain on hold until payment has cleared and required verification is complete.
  • Products or combined orders above $5,000 may require a formal quote and separate secure payment instructions.
Shipping and Delivery

Processing, transit, freight, and unloading

Shipping and delivery are governed by the terms displayed on the applicable product page and our published shipping and unloading policies.

Processing Time

Most confirmed orders are prepared for dispatch within approximately 2–5 business days.

Estimated Transit

Most contiguous U.S. deliveries are estimated to arrive approximately 6–13 business days after dispatch.

Large Equipment

Eligible freight-delivered machinery includes coordinated ground-level unloading within the contiguous United States unless stated otherwise.

Delivery dates are estimates. Weather, carrier operations, site access, natural disasters, road restrictions, labor disruptions, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery.

Delivery Acceptance and Risk

Receiving and inspecting your order

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the purchaser when the order has been delivered and accepted at the approved delivery address, subject to any rights relating to documented shipping damage, shortage, or incorrect delivery.

  • Inspect freight packaging and visible product areas before signing the delivery receipt.
  • Record visible damage or missing items on the carrier’s paperwork before acceptance.
  • Take clear photographs and retain the packaging when damage is discovered.
  • Contact Garden Machinery Direct promptly with your order number and supporting information.
Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds

Conditions that apply after ordering

Eligible return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery and approved before any product is shipped back.

Standard return eligibility depends on the product’s condition, original packaging, included manuals and accessories, proof of purchase, and compliance with the Refund & Return Policy.

Non-defective returns may be subject to return freight, packaging costs, inspection, and an applicable restocking fee.

An order cancelled after carrier booking, dispatch, or entry into transit may be treated as a return. Outbound freight, return freight, carrier charges, and applicable restocking deductions may apply.

Warranty Terms

Product-specific manufacturer coverage

New products include the limited warranty applicable to their specific brand, model, component type, and intended residential or commercial use.

Warranty coverage generally addresses qualifying defects in materials or workmanship and does not normally cover:

  • Normal wear, consumables, and routine maintenance
  • Misuse, neglect, collision, overloading, or improper storage
  • Failure to follow servicing or operating instructions
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, tuning, or incompatible components
  • Environmental damage, corrosion, flooding, fire, or similar external causes

The written manufacturer warranty and Garden Machinery Direct Warranty Policy contain the complete claim conditions and exclusions.

Product Use and Modifications

Operate equipment safely and within approved limits

Customers and operators are responsible for reading the supplied documentation, following safety instructions, completing required maintenance, and confirming that the equipment is suitable for its intended use and operating environment.

  • Do not bypass guards, interlocks, warning systems, or other safety features.
  • Do not make unauthorized structural, mechanical, electrical, software, engine, battery, or control-system changes.
  • Confirm compatibility before installing third-party attachments, batteries, chargers, blades, parts, or accessories.
  • Use appropriate protective equipment and keep children, pets, and bystanders away from operating machinery.

Unauthorized modification or misuse may void warranty coverage and may release Garden Machinery Direct from liability for resulting damage, failure, or injury to the extent permitted by law.

Intellectual Property

Ownership of website content

The Garden Machinery Direct name, website design, original page content, graphics, photographs, product-page layouts, and other proprietary materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights.

Third-party brand names, product photographs, trademarks, manuals, and manufacturer materials remain the property of their respective owners and may be used only as authorized.

You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, modify, or commercially exploit protected website content without prior written authorization or another lawful basis.

Privacy and Communications

Information submitted through our services

Personal information is collected and handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Information may be processed to complete payments, fulfill orders, arrange delivery, prevent fraud, provide support, administer returns or warranty claims, and meet applicable obligations.

By submitting contact details in connection with an order, you authorize Garden Machinery Direct and the providers involved in fulfillment to send essential communications concerning payment, order status, shipping, freight appointments, returns, security, or warranty support.

Disclaimers and Liability

Limits that apply where legally permitted

Except for warranties expressly provided in writing and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, the website and related services are provided without additional express or implied warranties.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Garden Machinery Direct will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential losses resulting from website use, service interruption, product misuse, unauthorized modification, or equipment downtime.

Excluded losses may include:

  • Loss of profit, revenue, contracts, or business opportunity
  • Operational downtime or loss of productivity
  • Rental equipment, substitute labor, or recovery costs
  • Loss of data or records
  • Consequential property, landscaping, or environmental loss

Where legally permitted, our total liability relating to an order or product will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or customer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Indemnification

Claims arising from prohibited conduct

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Garden Machinery Direct and its personnel from third-party claims, liabilities, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your material breach of these Terms, unlawful website use, fraudulent activity, unauthorized product modification, negligent equipment operation, or infringement of another party’s rights.

Applicable Law and Disputes

Legal jurisdiction

These Terms, your use of gardenmachinerydirect.us, and purchases made through the website are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before starting a formal claim, both parties agree to make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the matter by contacting Garden Machinery Direct and providing the order number, issue summary, supporting documents, and requested resolution. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, and unless applicable law requires otherwise, any legal action shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Arizona. Each party consents to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts for disputes arising from these Terms, the website, or a purchase from Garden Machinery Direct. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer protection rights or remedies available under applicable law.

Changes and Severability

Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our website, services, policies, operating practices, or legal obligations. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Your continued use of the website after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those revisions to the extent permitted by law.

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
